Film and I have a bipolar abusive relationship. Kind of like that girl/guy everyone has dated where it starts as a passionate relationship then ends in a screaming contest, followed shortly by the screeching of tires. I really do hate most cinema box-office-crunchers, but do enjoy the movies made with a true passion for storytelling. A lot of my childhood was without cable TV as I lived my whole life in the south of Ireland and before 2006 was 20 years behind America. Most of my films were watched late at night in my room with the volume at zero and Teletext subtitles on. I even remember watching the film adaption of Spawn through a keyhole!
